VMware vCloud Hybrid Service (vCHS) is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering based on the VMware vSphere hypervisor. vCHS features three IaaS services -- dedicated cloud, virtual private cloud and disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS). The dedicated cloud offering, which is intended for large cloud projects with resource-intensive workloads, provides 120 GB of vRAM, 30 GHzvCPU and 6 TB of storage. It allocates a 50 Mbps network by default and can burst up to 1 Gbps in times of increased demand. VMware dedicated cloud physically isolates the servers for each customer's infrastructure, which may be a requirement for businesses in regulated industries.
