Mission: St. Louis was founded in 2006, growing from a mercy ministry of the Journey Church into an independent 501(c)(3) organization. We aim to create thriving communities by empowering people to bring themselves out of poverty. By encouraging character and family relationships, and instilling a sense of responsibility to their community, we are equipping people to bring about positive change. Our relationship with the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood (FPSE), our area of focus, began with a school supply drive for Adams Elementary, which grew into community-encompassing programming including Beyond School, Beyond Jobs and Beyond Charity.
