Alternately, students at Coastline may elect to get an associate’s degree in liberal arts or even fine arts, with which they can also take advantage of Coastline’s Arts Abroad program in Florence, Italy. Admission to Coastline is available to anyone who is at least 18 years old, though those who are under 18 may also attend as long as they’ve either received a high school diploma, passed an equivalency test or have received permission from their principal and parent. Tuition for California residents is reduced. Students who want financial aid may fill out a FAFSA to be considered for loans, grants and/or a work-study program. Military benefits are also available to those who qualify.
