Entering freshmen may also earn credit for the AP, CLEP or IB exams. Transfer applicants with 24 units or more do not need to submit the ACT or SAT scores. Both freshmen and transfer applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Federal aid sources, including loans and grants, are awarded to students who meet eligibility requirements like demonstrated financial need. Students may also apply for merit scholarships, which take academic performance into account.
