Westrock Partners provides private equity and investment banking services to emerging growth companies and their respective principals. Historically, through the Westrock Venture Fund, we have invested in or provided significant financing to various companies seeking to raise private equity investments. Westrock Partners was built on the philosophy of taking an active role in working with our portfolio companies and clients, determining the needs of the client company and its principals, drafting and implementing a sound business plan, understanding the dynamics of the company’s culture, and developing and implementing various corporate finance strategies to maximize shareholder value while keeping in mind that the decisions that are made at the highest level of a company have a tremendous affect on everyone in the organization. As either investors or consultants, we work with our portfolio companies and clients to determine the appropriate direction a company shall undertake in regard to growing the business to either critical mass or the next level through aggressive internal measures, through a merger with a peer or with a company of greater size and resources or an acquisition to facilitate the company’s vertical integration. We spend considerable time working with senior management to move forward with implementing its business plan, strategic planning issues and developing exit strategies for our investors or clients. We devote a tremendous amount of resources on individual company research, market research and analysis, specific industry research and macroeconomic analysis. We have had direct participation in economic and financial feasibility studies on several international projects in food processing and distribution and in the secondary educational market. In addition to working in a merger and acquisition consulting capacity, the firm works with other private and institutional investors, leverage buy-out firms and private investment partnerships to provide our clients with a full-range of professional services. In order for our clients to achieve their goals, we provide direct funding of transactions, debt and equity private placements, capital and debt introductions to traditional and non-traditional lenders, participate in various alternative investment strategies, and provide professional services to include board-level consulting and advice.
