About Stockton University
stockton.eduEstablished in 1969 in Galloway Township, the Richard Stockton College is named after one of New Jersey’s signers of the Declaration of Independence. The school is conveniently located just 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City. Student life is a highlight of Stockton College. The school features an impressive array of student clubs and organizations, as well as intramural and club sports and over 15 NCAA Division III teams. Stockton administers its academics through eight schools. Several concentrations are available at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. The college offers some unique and useful degree programs, such as a Master of Arts in Holocaust & Genocide Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology & Audiology. Financial aid is available through government grants and loans to those who qualify. Stockton also funds scholarships for its students, which are based primarily on academic merit. Stockton College prides itself on its patronage of the arts. The Arts & Sciences Building and Stockton Performing Arts Center provide ample space for students to learn, create, and showcase their work. Stockton’s Art Gallery, which also houses music and dance studios and practice rooms, was renovated in 2011.
