It's a traditional college campus, with student life that features over 40 clubs and organizations, athletics and various activities. A crucial component of this community is residence life, which is governed by the student-owned Residence Hall Association. As you might expect, Oregon Tech's academics are strongly biased toward science and technology. The university consists of the College of Engineering, Technology & Management, and the College of Health, Arts & Sciences. A variety of graduate degrees are also available. Admissions requirements for Oregon Tech vary based on the type of applicant, but in an effort to promote diversity, the university no longer requires SAT/ACT scores. Applicants to graduate degree programs will find different admissions requirements based on the program. Oregon Tech offers many merit scholarships, including the Presidential Scholarship and Engineering Honors Scholarship.
