These liberal arts classes are provided by the Empire College of SUNY New York and can usually be completed online. The curriculum focuses on all facets of radiology, including: * Medical terms * Methods of patient care * Radiographic film processing * Anatomy * Physiology * Pharmacology * Radiographic biology * Quality assurance * And many more The coursework is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills as an entry-level radiographer, as well as development in applied skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem solving to get graduates on their way to gainful employment or a further education in radiologic healthcare. Financial aid is available to eligible students through a number of sources. The school does not offer housing, but it does provide assistance in finding housing if students need it.
