The Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, is a private, four-year university that strives to create a wholesome environment in which students can receive a quality education to prepare them for leadership in the community, at work and around the world. The school is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and encourages students to live out the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Admissions are determined by an applicant’s ACT or SAT scores, high school GPA, AP or IB classes, and GED or COMPASS scores. The university offers merit-based scholarships to eligible students. Other forms of financial aid available to students who have filed a FAFSA and demonstrate need include federal grants and loans.
