Founded in 1991, DREAM (formerly known as Harlem RBI) serves more than 2,500 youth annually in East Harlem, the South Bronx, and Newark. Our unique program model uses team-based methods to provide a comprehensive, enriching experience for young people. DREAM CHARTER SCHOOL DREAM Charter School is a model learning community with high expectations, a strong culture of care, and a vision of student success and excellence. DREAM was established in 2008 with 100 scholars in kindergarten and first grade. We have added an additional grade each year since then, and today we serve scholars in Pre-K through tenth grade. DREAM AFTER-SCHOOL AND SUMMER Our after-school and summer programs provide youth with opportunities to play, learn, and grow. Our kids stay on track to achieve long-term academic success and develop the life skills to become competent, confident, and caring adults. WE BELIEVE IN TEAMS We use the power of teams to challenge staff and volunteers to meet high standards of performance, to seek meaningful results from our work, and to constantly improve the services we provide. As a team, we are committed to personal and organizational growth. We work together to reach a high standard of professionalism, fulfill our commitment to youth, and make our organization a model learning community.
