Comprehensive Certificate Programs Video Symphony's Certificate Programs are some of the most comprehensive editing, audio engineering, and visual effects programs available anywhere. Certificate Programs are intensive. they span from 10 to 18 months of focused learning and practical experience often including real-world productions. Each Certificate Program has been shaped to provide a broad scope of skills and practical experience. Such in-depth training ensures that graduates are sharp, confident and ready to launch. Industry-Authorized Courses Video Symphony's 30 Industry-Authorized Courses form the foundation of our Certificate Programs. These courses are available individually to working professionals to enhance and upgrade their skills. They are also included in our Certificate Programs. Our Industry-Authorized Courses span 8 to 40 hours. They have been developed by, and are certified by Avid, Digidesign, Apple, Boris, Adobe and other high-end software publishers. For each Industry-Authorized course, Video Symphony provides official coursebooks and a certificate of completion. Video Symphony has been awarded #1 Avid authorized education center world wide for three years in a row. National and State Accreditation Our school operates under both state and national certification and supervision. Video Symphony is nationally accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training), which requires strict compliance regarding educational standards and job placement. ACCET: 1722 N Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20036. In California, the certifying agency is the Bureau of Private Post-Secondary Vocational Education (BPPVE) but is now operating under the Department of Consumer Affairs. Video Symphony has been BPPVE-approved since 1997 and has signed a voluntary agreement to carry on as if the BPPVE is still in existence. Avid Certification Video Symphony proudly offers the Certified Operator exam for Avid Media Composer users.
