Pine Manor also has associate’s degree programs in several fields including Health Sciences and Theatre. Pine Manor’s approach to undergraduate studies is what sets it apart. Another unique offering is Pine Manor’s MFA program in Creative Writing. With concentrations in Fiction, Poetry, Nonfiction and Children’s Literature, the MFA is co-educational. The school has clubs and groups related to the arts, a student radio station and newspaper, and cultural, community service and academic associations. Pine Manor’s admissions process is unusually individualized. In addition to grades and SAT scores, Pine Manor takes additional factors into consideration such as participation in community service, special talents and extracurricular activities. Eligible Pine Manor students receive some form of financial aid, through such sources as loans, grants and scholarships.
