Moravian College was founded on a revolutionary idea: that learning should be eye opening, heart racing, game changing and—most important—fun. When John Amos Comenius, a Moravian bishop, came up with that little theory all the way back in the 1600s, he probably didn't expect to have such a big impact. Founded in 1742, we’ve had 275 years to perfect our now unique, 21st century liberal arts education. Our student body continues to greater represent our diverse global community, with 1700+ undergraduates hailing from 24 different states and 14 different countries. And with 80+ clubs and organizations (including several for international students), 55+ majors and programs, and a graduate school right here on campus, we give all of our students the means to create, improve, and grow. Students thrive with the personal attention that a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio enables, and pursue programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Science degrees at the undergraduate level. Graduate degrees include a Masters of Science in Predictive Analytics, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Human Resource Management, Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Athletic Training. We equip all incoming undergraduate students with Apple MacBook Pros and iPads, so they can map a 3D skeleton model, connect with collaborators around the world, and be prepared for the real, tech-savvy world. Students can follow their classmates’ footsteps and intern with NASA, work with elephants in Thailand or attend the UN conference on climate change. Moravian College sits 90-minutes east of New York City, 60-minutes north of Philadelphia, five hours south of Boston, and right in the center of the culturally-vibrant Lehigh Valley.
