A unique facet of student life at Flagler College is the school’s stunning campus. Though it was founded about 50 years ago, some of Flagler’s academic buildings go back much further than that. Ponce de León Hall is more than 120 years old, and is part of the National Register of Historic Places. Of course, Flagler is much more than its architecture. The college is known for its excellent academics, which combine intellectual and professional development. More than 25 majors are available in about 10 academic departments. The Education Department features some rare concentrations, such as Deaf and Hard of Hearing (K-12) and Exceptional Student Education (K-12). Flagler offers flexible admissions options. You can choose from the Regular Decision Plan or the Early Decision Plan, each of which have different deadlines. Early Decision applications are due in the first week of November, but admissions notifications are sent before December 15. Regular Decision applications are due March 1, with notifications beginning on January 15. Need-based financial aid at Flagler comes primarily from the state and federal government, but the school does offer grants ranging between $200 and $2,000. Flagler also funds several scholarship programs, most of which are based on academic achievement.
