About Fabric Center

fabriccenter.net

Fabric Center began in 1983 by Ken & Joan Cahoon and their children as a tiny store in West Jordan that offered flatfold fabrics and assorted trims & notions at great prices with an emphasis on great customer service. In 2001, Ken and Joan found the opportunity to own their own building and moved to our current location. This enabled the store to better meet the needs of its customers and to carry on the tradition of passing savings through competitive prices. It's been over 30 years and the store is going strong thanks to Ken and Joan's daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and John Conrad, who've taken over operations of the store so Ken and Joan can enjoy retirement. While Lisa and John have many exciting plans for the future of Fabric Center, they have no desire to stray from the hard work and impeccable business values created by Ken and Joan, reflected in Fabric Center's mission statement as well as its success. Mission Statement: "Fabric Center exists to serve the sewing needs of each of its customers, by providing the best selection, for the best price, with the most helpful staff available. By utilizing Fabric Center's excellent service, selection and prices, the customer is able to meet her/his sewing needs most efficiently, in a cheerful atmosphere. She/he will develop qualities of creativity, thrift, and warmth for the enrichment of the home and family. Fabric Center will be known for its outstanding service and become the favorite fabric and idea source for those who sew." Our Mission Statement may be reduced to three words: Service Selection Savings Adherence to these values has been the secret to our success, and is what sets us apart from the rest as seen in our vast inventory of products, our reasonable prices and most importantly our friendly, knowledgeable and talented staff. We go the extra mile to build friendships with customers as is evidenced through happy, devoted, lifelong customers too numerous to count.
