Riders travel for an hour on the first stage of the adventure to the picturesque sister villages of McCaysville, Georgia, and Copperhill, Tennessee, which are tucked away in the mountains on either side of the state border. During their two-hour layover, travellers take advantage of everything the communities have to offer before making the gorgeous one-hour return voyage to the station in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
